The Dorset Doddlers Running Club have been running around in circles since 1983. The club was originally formed by a small group of runners who had just completed their first London Marathon and now has well over 100 members drawn from all over the county.
Our Training
To find out about our training, please visit our training page
When the clocks change to BST, the Tuesday training is replaced by our Summer Runs, starting from beauty spots throughout Dorset.
Longer organised group runs often take place on Sunday mornings, particularly in the months preceding Spring Marathons.
We are an inclusive and social bunch, who welcome runners of all abilities. If you are new to the area or new to running, you are most welcome to come and try us out. Whatever your goals are in running, our ethos is to encourage, improve and enjoy running.
We also hold a dedicated Couch to 5K (C25K) training program, see this link to find out more

During the year we also have two ongoing competitions, the ‘Club Handicap’ and our age related ‘Club Championship’.
