Join like minded Doddlers for our summer runs, you’ll find spectacular scenery, good company and food to finish off with.
Next weeks summer run (17/09/24) will be commencing at The Half Moom in Shaftesbury.
Before you think: about putting the heating on, digging out those winter jumpers, ordering some more logs, and checking if you have enough de-icer why not join the penultimate “Summer” run of 2024 in sunny Shaftesbury.
We are meeting at 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start at the Half Moon in Shaftesbury (SP7 8BS) on Tuesday 17th September. Please bring head torches and hi-vis clothing.

20th August. Stunning countryside was the backdrop for a lovely summer run. Thanks to Ines for organising. It is for scenery and weather such as this that summer runs are so popular. Good grub also.
13th August. Thank you Lynda for a very nice run and walk from Smiths in Milton Abbas. It was lovely to sit and eat around the campfire afterwards.

23rd July. thank you to Sarah & Chris Perrett for the lovely run around their farm. It was great to be able to enjoy a picnic outside.

2nd July. Well done Adam for a lovely summer run from Hammoon and what better way to finish than with a picnic.
25th June, a big thank you to Jon Evelegh for organising our summer run from the Queens Head at Broad Chalke. The food was extremely tasty and we are sure to be back.
18th June, thanks to David Borrows for a very enjoyable evening around Worth Maltravers in what turned out to be lovely conditions, long may they continue.
12th June, thanks to Damian for organising our summer run from Fontmell. These summer runs are great social occasions so why not join us.
4th June, great turn out with 60 plus runners including walkers coming to John & Chris’s home in Stur.

30th April, we had a fantastic turnout of over 60 for Spencer and Dave Hurst’s run from the Blackmore Vale Pub in Marnhull.
3rd April, an even bigger turnout for Angela’s run from Fiddleford, thank you Angela for organising.
16th April was a big turnout in Blandford, and the rain stopped for the run. Thank you for Lynda for organising.
We enjoyed much better weather at Stourpaine on 9th April. Well done Lynda for organising.
Our first 2024 Summer Run was on 2nd April, organised by Lynda. Thank you for everyone who came and braved the horrible rain and mud/slurry! It was great to see you all and to enjoy a social meal in the Cricketers afterwards.
